Klay Thompson drained seven 3-pointers in the first quarter on the way to a game-high 23 points and the Dallas Mavericks handed the visiting Washington Wizards a 14th straight loss with a 130-108 blowout in the NBA on Monday.

It was a rout from the start, as Dallas needed just 6:13 to open up a 24-5 lead before going into the second quarter up 42-16.

Even though Thompson was on a roll from deep in the first quarter, he didn’t sink a triple over the final three frames. Reserve Jaden Hardy chipped in 12 points for the hosts.
